and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.
And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
- Matthew 28:19-20
How many times have you heard someone muse that Sunday
School was the last opportunity they had to consider their faith? Anglicans
encourage commitment to learning and growing if faith as a Christian as
a life-long joy. For Anglicans, liturgy is the principal way that we learn
together about prayer, sacramental life, scripture and a life of faith
lived in community. But Christ Church encourages the community to use
the gifts of reason, scripture and experience to foster faith life-long,
and thus to live it. A variety of events and study opportunities take
place each year to engage in continued education for adults.
and Lent, as seasons of preparation for the two most important feasts
of the Christian year, are favourite times for series and sessions. But
bible study, education events, preaching series, guest speakers, educational
programs and book studies are all a regular part of our parish life.
we support a regular meeting of "EFM", or Education for Ministry.
More about this and other programs will be posted in due course.
here for coming adult nurture events in the calendar!
